Several weeks ago Katy walked into our carport only to find a man in her car trying to steal anything he could. Among the items was our very nice digital camera, 2 batteries, 2 full memory cards, all within a case. The thief, unbeknown to us at the time, ran off with it. It was several days later that we realized the camera was missing. Unfortunately, we had not downloaded or printed any of the pictures from the memory cards except for what was on the blog. After several weeks of Katy crying, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, she has accepted the fact that the pics are gone to the other side of the tracks - never to be seen again. We will never wait that long to download pictures again!Since we have finally given up on the local police to retrieve the camera, we have purchased another one. Here is one of the first pics with our new camera. So we are grasping our new camera tightly and are back in the saddle again blogging pics of Grayson...and soon to be Mary Gibson in September.

What a handsome boy -- and what a horrible story! Good job for getting a good attitude...I might still be moping. Now you better get an archival system going so that if something happens to your computer, you have a back-up. Call me if you want some tips -- a friend who took a class on digital photography told me some real good stuff! Miss ya'll!
Goodness! He looks like a totally different child! He has grown up so much! I backed up all my pics on shutterfly and two weeks later my computer crashed and we lost everything on it...fortunately all the important pics were saved to shutterfly, so it really wasn't a big deal. That jerk should at least have the decency to mail the memory cards back! What a loser!
Wow! He's changed since the last time we saw him. He's still sooo handsome. Hope the pregnancy is going well. Hope to see y'all soon! :)
